Project Development & Advisory

Mr. Juvent P. Magoggo

Project Development Associate

Juvent P. Magoggo supports TAGET as an external associate specialising in grant proposal development, helping the organisation secure the funding needed to restore Tanzania's mangroves, coastlines, and coastal communities.

Based in Tanga, Juvent brings over 40 years of experience in agricultural research, natural resource management, and business development, including two decades within Tanzania's national agricultural research system and a background in land evaluation and environmental data. He has also worked in marine systems: sea grass, coral reefs and sea weed. He holds an MSc in Information Systems in Agriculture from Wageningen Agricultural University, The Netherlands.

As a project coach for the Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN) and founder of JPFirst Limited, Juvent has helped secure financing for projects across renewable energy, agribusiness, and community development - including a CEPF biodiversity grant (management of indigenous trees) and multiple UNIDO renewable energy grants. He is fluent in both English and Kiswahili, allowing him to bridge international donor requirements with the realities of grassroots, community-led conservation.

Juvent works with TAGET's team to translate its science-driven, community-based environmental work into compelling, fundable proposals for donors and partners around the world.
