Mr. Abdurahmani Zayumba

As Managing Director, Mr. Abdurahmani Zayumba leads TAGET's overall strategy and direction, making sure every initiative the organisation takes on aligns with its environmental mission and delivers measurable benefit to the communities it serves.

His work spans environmental policy, programme oversight, and the day-to-day management of projects across Tanzania's coastal and inland ecosystems - from mangrove and seagrass restoration on the Tanga coastline to reforestation and waste management inland.

He also leads TAGET's partnership work, building the relationships with government bodies, donors, research institutions, and community groups that allow the organisation's science-driven, community-based model to operate at scale.
